Can't believe it's 2 years since I wrote on this. Looking below it's fascinating as i'm pleased that we had 100 sellers in the comments. We've obviously now had well over 200 sellers and 160 odd is the new norm which is wonderful. We must be the only people happy with the Covid sitution s we were one of only two cr boots opening last year and benefitted hugely. Ourselves and Friday Street are still getting great numbers this year on account of so many comiong to alterntive car boots and finding that .. actually these are great car boots. Many people go to car boots because they always have and, I guess, get their regulars but.... Car Boot buyers, real car boot buyers start at one car boot and go to about 3 or 4 on a Sunday. 

We have done well because Needham has been shut but, we get great crowds at Stonham and have the benefit of so much more going on at Stonham than any other car boot. I probably enjoyed the car boot when everyone turned up at 8am and we were still open at 2pm. Instead we have people arriving at 5.30am and by 11 they are tired.. We used to put the stalls up on Sunday Morning before everyone arrived but.. no chance of doing that now. 

Speaking of Needham, they re-open on Saturday. A different day to us but, I hope we don't lose any of our new regulars. Hopefully they will do both days but so annoying if people just do the Saturday becuse they used to go there. Good luck to them though. They've been around longer than us, as have most car boots, but hopefully we'll see them on Sunday still.
